My buddy Maman Butt & I have decided to slowly replace all of our mass-manufactured body care products and household cleaning items with our own, homemade versions.
Why?
A) We are hipster housewives.
B) We’re stay-at-home Moms trying to save money.
C) We want to KNOW what we’re putting on our bodies and our babies’ bodies and on the surfaces we touch.
D) We’re a bit crazy.
E) All of the above.
We have quite a To-Do List for Operation 2014 Beauty Product DIY:

For deodorant, I use 1/2 cup each of baking soda, cornstarch, and melted coconut oil, and 10 or so drops of my favourite EO. Works like a charm.
