This year is lucky number SEVEN for our annual Made in Canada Baby event! This unique and massively popular giveaway promotion is hosted by Olivia at This West Coast Mommy and Lindsay at Maman Loup’s Den. Made in Canada Baby shines a polite, maple-leaf-shaped spotlight on Canadian brands and businesses in honour of Canada Day, with a special twist this year to celebrate Maman Loup welcoming twins to her den!
This event runs June 25 – July 9, 2018.
With close to 40,000 combined Facebook fans, 22,000 combined Twitter followers and 14,000 combined Instagram followers, not to mention tens of thousands of monthly blog readers from across Canada and the US, Made in Canada Baby is the perfect way to reach your target market of babywearing, cloth-diapering and green-living parents! If you’re new to MICB, you can check out last year’s post here.
How does it work?
Canadian brands and retailers offer a prize (a physical prize must have a minimum retail value of $25, a gift certificate, $50) and provide us with a publicity “blurb” about what makes their brand or shop unique. Based on the prizes offered, we will create themed prize packs. Check out last year’s MICB for inspiration and to see how this all comes together. Participating brands and shops will be included in the Giveaway Tools widget, meaning that participants earn entries into the giveaway for visiting or following their social media accounts.
What’s new this year?
To encourage even more eyes on the prizes and to honour the arrival of the Cub Twins, we’re offering a DOUBLE TROUBLE cash prize. All participants will be entered to win one of two cash prizes!
The registration fee for Made in Canada Baby 2018 will be $30. You will receive one social media link in the giveaway widget, your prize and logo will be featured in a prize pack collage and your promotional blurb will be included in the giveaway blog post.
Please note that we will be including companies in the Giveaway Tools widget on a first to pay, first to be listed basis.
