When you think of baby products, you probably think cute, practical or maybe whimsical, but not stylish. Yet that’s exactly what the Guzzie + Guss Rock is: stylish. When I first opened the box, I thought the rocker was almost too cool for my slapdash decor. I also marvelled at the fact that there was NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED. That is also not something that can often be said of baby products.
For us, the biggest benefit of the rocker is that it can be folded up and stored away easily. We live in an apartment and space is at a premium.
When we first brought our little guy home, he wasn’t much of a fan of the rocker. For the first couple of months, the only motion he liked was up-and-down. Over and over and over again. Every time I tried the rocker, he cried. But then, a few weeks ago things changed (as they tend to do with babies). The little guy warmed to the rocker, and I couldn’t be more grateful! These days, strapping him into the rocker is the only way I get a shower. Even in our small bathroom, I can make room for it.
What we love about the Rock:

- Easy to buckle squiggly baby
- 3 seating positions, from almost fully reclined to completely upright
The only con, at least for me, is that the rocker doesn’t, well, rock very easily. The curve of the rockers is so subtle that I have to work to keep it moving. This is not a complaint that would keep me from recommending this product, though. All in all, we love it.
