I don’t like to wash my hair. Don’t get me wrong: I do bathe. I just hate washing my hair. Washing my hair means I have to dry it, and I’m lazy. I hate going to bed with wet hair, and I am very much an evening bather rather than a morning one. I also hate washing my hair because it’s really cold right now, even inside. Anything I can do to avoid losing heat, I do it. (Including walking around with a blanket on.)
Thanks to my homemade shampoo, I am now truly able to get away with 1-2 hair washings per week. With store-bought shampoo I was washing at least every two days.
Thanks to this really simple dry shampoo, I can stretch the time between washings even more, and no one’s the wiser.
I sprinkle some on, focusing on the scalp, rub it around a bit, then dust it all out. (You can use a blush brush, I just use my hands and a towel.) It takes all the grease right out and gives my hair a nice texture. I honestly love how my hair looks after I’ve dry shampooed it!
