Etsy’s a fun place to shop, but generally you have to be patient! The talented artisans that stock Etsy’s virtual shelves need time to craft their delightful wares. For the impatient shoppers (like me), shopping from After February means almost instant gratification:
Choose the wall art or the card design that you love, and Febe at After February will personalize it to your specifications within 48 hours. (She also has some items that don’t require personalization, so once you’ve paid, they’re yours to download!) You will receive your proofs to confirm your satisfaction, and the perfected files will be yours to keep.
I chose a gorgeous Christmas card template that matched perfectly with an informal family portrait we took at my brother’s wedding:
I had the 5×7 jpeg file printed at Costco, one copy in matte and one in glossy, to see which I preferred. (At just 0.29 each, you can’t lose!) Because there is also an accompanying graphic for the back of the card, I will investigate my options for ordering full greeting cards that we can write messages inside. Because I don’t send a ton of Christmas cards out via snail mail, I’m psyched that I will also be able to send our card via email!
Although I had no occasion to use them for, browsing through After February’s Etsy Shop, I was particularly impressed with the thank you card and invitation designs she has available. One day I’d like to host a party worthy of such gorgeous invitations! When Cub was born, we made a relatively boring (and cookie cutter) birth announcement to send out. Next baby is being announced in style, using After February!
The second product I chose from After February was some wall art. In her shop, the fawn is pink, but it was no problem when I asked her to make him a nice shade of blue for Cub’s room. Febe offers her customers the chance to fully customize the colours of her fonts and graphics: you can even send her an image if you want a perfect match.
With a frame from the dollar store, I now have this cute print to hang in his bedroom. The print costs $5.72, it’s $2 to have an 8×10 printed at Costco, and the frame was $2. For less than $10, you can have an adorable piece of art to give at a baby shower or for your own child’s nursery. If you want to go more luxurious, just choose a fancier frame!
For birth announcements, thank you cards, invitations, greeting cards and wall art, not to mention Bingo cards for shower games and cupcake toppers… After February has got you covered! Shop from anywhere in the world, since “virtual” shipping won’t cost you a penny.
Two winners will receive $50 AfterFebruary Gift Certificate.
