I received this item free for review. All opinions remain my own… and those of my BFF, Adrienne, whose baby I borrowed.
Earlier this summer, I told you all about Debest and their naturally-coloured cotton baby wear. I had to wait for a new baby to arrive in order to actually try their softer-than-soft, sweeter-than-sweet confections. My BFF, Adrienne, gave birth to her fourth child and second son earlier this month, and the little fellow has been tolerating my poking and prodding as I try different diapers on him, as long he’s not hungry.
We chose the smallest size of Debest footed sleeper to try on little EAT (his initials conveniently spell his favourite passtime). At roughly 12 lbs, he had room to grow but could still wear it comfortably:
What I like about the sleeper is its almost indescribable softness (a characteristic of this type of cotton) and the quiet neutrality of its colour. What Adrienne loves about putting this sleeper on her little dude is the sturdiness of the zipper (and the fact that it’s a zipper, versus snaps) and the fact that it is footed. Sleepers without feet mean you need to put socks on a newborn, and socks and newborns are not the best of friends.
As soon as it’s clean, Mama Adrienne is eager to slip her newest squish into his Debest sleeper. As for me, I’m looking forward to trying it myself when I finally become a Mama of Two!
