Renee at Lil’ Monkey Cheeks has been keeping her secret project tightly under wraps for some time now. When she sent me pictures of the first AppleCheeks-inspired bandana bibs she was having made by Maple Ridge, BC-based WAHM, Yvonne (from Nic & Elli), I must admit, I was impressed. Sworn to secrecy for months, now the cat is out of the bag and her bandana bibs are open for pre-order on her website!
I don’t know how she settled on just 5 AppleCheeks-inspired colours, and I’m hardpressed to say which one I like best. Okay, that’s not true. Despite Cherry Tomato not being my favourite AC colour (red in general isn’t my cup of tea), I love the “true” two-tone AppleCheeks logo on the Cherry Tomato bandana!
The colours she chose besides Cherry Tomato are Lake Echo, Pink About It, RipTide and St. Lucia.
The bandana bibs are made with organic cotton and backed with dimpled minky, providing a water resistant layer between drool and baby’s clothes. Double closure snaps will provide a perfect fit. They measure 15″ x 9″ and are all handmade and embroidered in BC!
The bibs retail for $16.95 each, and $1 from each Bandana Bib purchase will be donated to Cloth for a Cause.
