Je suis fière d’annoncer que je suis maintenant rendu à 3000 “J’aime” sur ma page Facebook de Maman Loup’s Den!
I’m proud to announce that I am now at 3000 “Likes” on my Maman Loup’s Den Facebook page!
Pour souligner cet événement majeur, j’ai demandé l’aide de sept de mes compagnies québécoises préférées qui fournissents toutes un prix dans ce concours Fait au Québec.
To mark this milestone, I’ve asked seven of my favourite Québec-based companies to offer prizes for a Made-in-Québec Giveaway.
All of my sponsors have been chosen because I personally love their products and their companies. I have been lucky enough to work with all seven sponsors in various capacities: as a reviewer, as a product tester, as a translator, cloth subsidy advocate and even as a volunteer GCDC organizer.
While AppleCheeks, Bummis and Omaïki are well known outside the province (ACs have a cult-like following in Canada and the US, Bummis has been a pioneer in the modern cloth diapering industry and I’m hearing more and more talk of Omaïkis beyond Québec borders), I’m hoping to introduce the rest of Canada and my American followers to Double Maman, Öko Creations, Mini Kiwi and Rainbows & Lollipops art.
Check out the companies and the great prizes they are offering (companies listed in alphabetical order).
AppleCheeks diapers make up about 1/3 of my stash, and I plan to buy size 1s when the time comes for a second Cub. I was late jumping on the AC train, only trying one for the first time when I won one in a giveaway! I haven’t looked back… I love the fit of size 2s on my toddler! ACs are made here in Montréal, and the lovely ladies at AC are offering up a Little Bundle (1 envelope cover and 1 bamboo trifold) plus a storage sack to one lucky winner!
Cloth diapering began for me with Bummis: prefolds and covers are the most economical newborn diaper option around! I feel pretty lucky to consider Boutique Bummis my local cloth diaper dealer shop. Cub was a tester for their newly-released Simply Lite cover, which is our favourite for travel (just bring a couple Simply Lites and a stack of trifolds) and for overnight. I was featured in an interview with one of Bummis’ founders, Betsy Thomas, and I’m helping Boutique Bummis run the GCDC this year. The wonderful women of Bummis are offering a Simply Lite cover to one lucky winner!
Double Maman has the honour of being the first WAHM diaper I ever bought! I gave it a rave review here. Chrystel at Double Maman is a real star of the Quebec WAHM diaper-making scene, and decidedly so. Her Hybrid AIO is a versatile diaper that marries many of my favourite features: double gussets, natural-fibre insert, and snaps to allow “AIO”-like function. Double Maman is offering up an appropriately Quebec-coloured hybrid AIO to one lucky winner!
Mini Kiwi is the “coup de coeur” for many Québec cloth-diapering Mamas, and we just gave rave reviews to their pocket diaper. (Still to come, a review of their AIO!) This company run by BFFs and their respective partners is looking to expand beyond La Belle Province, and I hope this giveaway helps them meet their goal. The 4-person team at Mini Kiwi is offering up an all-in-one diaper to one lucky winner!
Öko Creations hold the title of “most reviewed” company on my blog, with three reviews to date! Their hemp trifolds are the only inserts I use as AI2s and in my pocket diapers (including my ACs!). I always choose my Öko liners first in my mommy cloth stash, and post-bath time is poncho time every night at our house. Speaking of ponchos, the sisters behind Öko are offering up one of their gorgeous Bath Ponchos to a lucky winner!
Omaïki is a staple for many families here in Québec, and I’m noticing more and more chatter about their diapers in Canada-wide Facebook groups. They just redesigned their AIO diaper for a roomier fit: it’s seriously the largest-fitting “one-size” diaper I’ve tried on my big boy. I’ll be posting a review on it soon!
She might not make diapers, but there’s no denying that Rainbow & Lollipop’s Marie-Pier is a cloth diaper addict! One of her most popular prints uses the “HTF” colours of AppleCheeks with a knowing reference to unicorns. Her original prints for children’s rooms are the cutest, and, unlike diapers, can be on display long after potty learning! I am in love with our Wolf Cub-inspired bathroom trio: I will send them with Cub when he moves out. Marie-Pier is offering a $28 gift certificate to her shop to one lucky winner.
Time to enter the giveaway!
