Labour Day weekend at my house meant time to get school supplies ready. My Mom has the most impeccable printing of anyone I’ve ever seen, and she carefully labelled all of my school supplies. And I do mean ALL of them. She would shave a little bit off the side of my pencil crayons and then carefully write my name on the wood. Of every pencil crayon. I’m serious.
But guess who came home with (most of) her pencil crayon stubs at the end of the year? Also… guess who still insisted on a brand new box of (unlabeled) pencil crayons for the next school year?
My Mom was thrifty, and she knew that a great way to save money was to not have to replace things all the time. Sadly, the universe gave her a daughter who lost (and still loses) everything. But at least with a name firmly attached to most of my belongings, many would make their way back to me.
Fast forward thirty years, and I don’t know yet if my Cub will be as incapable of keeping track of his belongings as I once was… but I do know that I want to keep his things neatly labelled, and although my handwriting is good, it’s not as good as my Mom’s, so I prefer pre-printed labels.
Enter Lovable Labels Ultimate Camp Packs. I don’t need to be sending Cub off to Summer Camp to find a ton of ways to use this variety-pack of customized labels!
With an early-bird price of $39.95 (until March 31), a set of these labels will have you covered whether it’s for school, day care or camp. You can even use the smallest of the Press n’ Stick Clothing DOTS on the garment tag of cloth diapers you send to day care! These peel-and-stick labels are dishwasher and microwave safe, waterproof, UV resistant and come in a handy booklet (no lost sheets of stickers). I’ll keep you posted on how well the labels fare in the laundry and the dishwasher as we start breaking them in.
15 Sticker Labels (these are bigger labels, I used one on his bento box.)
40 Slimline Labels (if I were so inclined, I could definitely label a full set of pencil crayons with these.)
12 Shoe Labels (Much to my mother’s chagrin, I managed to lose ONE and only ONE sneaker in elementary school.)
72 Press n’ Stick Clothing DOTS™ (On the garment tag of his snowsuit and when he goes to day care, on his cloth diapers.)
2 Mini-Metal Tags (two 4” silver ball chains included) (My favourite in the pack! Perfect for his backpack and lunch bag)
12 Square Labels (So far I’ve put one on his arts & crafts drawer, but I’ll probably save these for labeling note books and binders come the school years.)
Enter to win a Lovable Labels Camp Pack for your child (or husband… mine keeps losing cutlery and Rubbermaid containers) thanks to Lovable Labels!
